CCAC is a great college to attend if you don’t want to jump straight into in university or if you don’t want to go to university at all. Staff are nice and helpful with whatever problems you need, professors are very adamant on what they expect and they let you know they are there to help if you’re willing to help yourself. Choosing CCAC was the best decision I made from my circumstances, and the advisor I had went to was very supportive and helpful with the whole process. Hopefully any and everyone who chooses to go here has a great experience also!
I had a great experience with all my professors, I took classes right out of highschool to boost my GPA and get an idea of what college would be like. After completing 2 semesters I was accepted into Pitt! CCAC is really a great stepping stone for people and you save a ton of money. If I had the power, I would change the location of the school, boyce campus sucks for walkability, there is nothing nearby (cafes, lunch, gyms, etc). This forces you to eat on campus, which is more of a self-serve grab-and-go situation, there is no full cafeteria.
I enjoyed the Gym. I can go there after study. So many places to study and hang out. It's lovely. They had the cafeteria closed down due to covid so I didn't get to see. I start August 19. There are so many opportunities to grow here. There is an Honors program you can apply to. If you have a 4 0, you don't have to take placement test. There are many people who are open to tutoring you. They want you to succeed. As a student pay attention to the TV, they have events that will happen at the campus, so keep a look out so you and your friends can go do fun activities. There is many lounge areas for alone time that I really like. There is a pond and a Hamper. They were remodeling and i really liked its aestetics. You can go to the library to read books. There are many programs. For example: Criminal Justice,Anatomy,Chemistry,Biology. There are so many opportunities to succeed here, don't wait to ask for help. I'm excited to become a wild cat. And see what it's all about. College freshman
